Client: Our German client manufactures precision products made from steel strip and wire at the highest level of quality, and supplies its products to the automotive, textile and consumer goods industries.

Location: Jiangsu
Reporting to: General Manager (China), Board Member (Germany)
Salary: competitive and negotiable
Travelling: >10%, extensive training in Germany for 6-9 months
Responsibilities:
Develop the organization and the business locally according to the global strategy.
Coach and Develop key staff for the organization.
Engage with international clients in coordination with headquarters in order to grow local sales.
Develop and maintain local clients.
Coordinate the implementation of changes and improvement in the technical development and production to ensure customer satisfaction with regard to quality, lead-times and costs.
Management and control of the day-to-day operations.
Supervise the division specific administration.
Comprehensively report results to the General Manager in China and the Group Board of Directors in Germany
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in mechanical engineering, machine building or related study
At least 5 years management experience in a senior leadership role in a related industry
At least 3 years experience in selling to senior decision makers in the relevant client industries
Experience with quality and change management
Technical understanding of conventional metal processing methods, particularly stamping, fine blanking and bending
Competent IT user (ERP, MS Office)
Effective and efficient communicator
Strong cross-cultural understanding
English required, fluent speaking and writing
German required, fluent speaking and writing
Mandarin preferred
Willingness to work in Jiangsu for at least 5 years
