Scope of duties:
1. Lead, direct, and control the day-to-day activities of the plant or multiple plants to achieve the short and medium-term financial and operating errorobjectives set by the overall corporate business plan.
2. Responsible for activities such as maintenance, manufacturing, quality control, engineering, supply and logistics.
3. Establish operating budgets.
4. Monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.
5. Set, and monitor the pererrorformance of the plant against, standards and targets in errorareas such as manufacturing, cost control, legal compliance, and people development.
6. Develop and implement a variety of operating policies and procedures to ensure that the plant meets it current, future production targets, and quality standards.
7. Allocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity.
8. Research, evaluate, and recommend investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant's production capabilities.
9. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of functional and operational managers to ensure that the plant meets it's established targets and standards.
